Venice Cicchetti Cooking Class
Every TUESDAY Â – Learn to prepare mouthwatering finger food in Venice
Come to Venice and enjoy a realÂ Venetian experience. During this class we will concentrateÂ on the preparation of Cicchetti, the traditional Venetian style canapÃ©s similar to Spanish tapas – small polenta bites with creamy cod, sweet and sour sardines, speck stuffed roll and much much more. These bite size snacks are sold in Venice in the small wine bars called bacaro or osteria and are at the center of the Venetian social life. Cicchetti are dead easy to prepare, delicious to eat and look beautifulÂ to look at. They provide theÂ perfect VenetianÂ food solution for small buffet dining occasion, cocktail parties and office events.
For our cicchetti making classes, we can organise the class in Venice or in Mira (in the second case we will pick you up from Tronchetto water bus Stop in Venice. We will then travel by car to our location on the Riviera del Brenta).We will buy the fresh ingredients needed during our Cicchetti cooking class lesson at a local market. On arrival you will be presented with some lovely Prosecco and a tasty selection of cicchetti (just to get you in the right mood).Â
We will then demonstrate how to prepare a large selection of Cicchetti recipes and you will be preparing them yourself.Â
Great for groups of friends, hen parties, birthdays or celebrations or team-building activities, or just something different with the family.
At the end of the lesson we will all sit down together to taste the Cicchetti finger food we prepared, together with a selection of local Veneto wines.

The hands-on lesson takes place from 10,00 till 13,00, from 13-14/14,30 lunch with the menu prepared, served with local white and red wines.
The cooking class is taught in Italian and English and lasts four hours , kitchen equipment (aprons, utensils, etc.) is provided, a booklet in English with the recipes of the day is provided, Included in the price is transportation to/from Venice. All products used are local and in season.Â
